Speed retrieve training

The drag race of Dockdog sports. Dogs race against the clock, each competing dog runs, jumps and, swims to the end of the pool, and retrieves an object (called a bumper) attached to a bracket by magnets at the end of the pool. The total distance is 58 feet from the 20 foot mark on the dock where your dog starts. The current Speed Retrieve World Record is 4.770 seconds.

Here at Barkby Plungers we have a regulation set-up for Speed Retrieve. If you are competing in Big Air, and Extreme Vertical, adding the Speed Retrieve competition will allow your dog to compete in the Iron Dog competitions.
